Why have cancellation policies?
We love and adore each and every patient. We appreciate your patronage and support for the business, many of you being involved from day one. We pride ourselves on the relationships we’ve developed and the commitment and dedication you’ve shown towards HVBL.
As the business continues to grow the demand for appointments increases. We juggle the business day to day trying our best to accommodate the demand for appointments. We want nothing more than to accommodate our patients by providing a personal, individualized, intimate experience.
In order to provide a great experience for all our patients we must implement and uphold certain policies.


HVBL Policies
If you are interested in standard skin treatments, skin care, tox or facials, feel free to schedule an appointment. If you are interested in more advanced skin treatments such as Laser, IPL, ResurFX, Combination Treatments and Injectables such as Filler and Sculptra, we do require a consultation as not everyone is a candidate or alternative treatment types may be suggested.
Schedule a 20 minute appointment to discuss your concerns and goals. During your consult Randi will listen to your concerns, answer any of your questions and create a treatment plan which will help you achieve your short term and long term goals. We will offer one of the multiple services HVBL provides.
We can suggest individual services or package multiple services together which will provide you with additional savings.
There is no obligation to purchase at the time of consult. Treatment plans and packaged pricing are valid for 3 months after your consult date.
Consults are made available for those who are unsure of what to address first on their journey to revitalization.
You will always have time before your treatment to discuss your goals with the practitioner.
A credit card is required on file to make a Consultation appointment. In the event you no call, no show, there will be a $50 fee charged for our time. You will not be charged a fee of any kind if you arrive for your consultation. There is no obligation to purchase a service at the time of consult.
Appointments can be rescheduled. For Nano Microblading appointments, we ask for at least 72 hours notice. If you cancel within 72 hours you will be charged for the appointment. If you reschedule in the appropriate manner, your deposits will be transferred to your next appointment. For all other appointments 48 hours notice is required. Please reschedule via the booking system or call the spa directly. Please do not use social media or email to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
As we enter 2024, HVBL will be strictly enforcing our cancellation and no call, no show policy. HVBL has had in place a 48 hour to 72 hour cancellation since inception. In the past months we’ve encountered an increase in last minute cancellations. These last minute cancellations have a negative impact on the business and affect the experience of our many patients. As mentioned, appointments at the spa are in demand, with many patients having to wait weeks for a desired service. Our 48 hour cancellation/rescheduling policy allows adequate time for the business to make adjustments to the schedule, readjust appointments and/or call in other patients who are scheduled at a later date. We plan our days in advance. Last minute changes create voids in the schedule, without the requested 48 hour notice we may not be able to fill your appointment slot resulting in a loss to the business. We at HVBL do everything we can to provide you with an amazing experience, we ask in return that you respect the time of the practitioners by providing us with proper notice.
If you are not certain you will be able to make your appointment, if you’re symptomatic or sick, please contact the spa 48 hours in advance and we will gladly reschedule your appointment at a later date. Please do not wait until the night before or the morning of your appointment in anticipation of your illness passing. You will be charge a cancellation fee in the event you wait until the day of your appointment to cancel. Please take into consideration the time frame of your appointment, consider special events, holidays, work related events and ensure your treatments and possible downtime will not conflict with these events.
If you must cancel an appointment you are required to CALL the spa directly and speak to a member of the team. Cancellations cannot be communicated through social media or text message. A phone call ensures we receive your request in a timely manner and is not overlooked.
Our Consultations are FREE. Please call in advance to cancel or reschedule.
Cancellations for Medi Spa services within the 48 hour time frame will incur a late cancellation fee of $150. Same day cancellation and no call, no shows will be charged a 50% fee equal to half the treatment value ($200 Minimum charge). There will be no exception to this policy.
Cancellations for Facial services within the 48 hour time frame will incur a late cancellation fee of $50. No call, no shows and same day cancellations will be charged the full value of the service. There will be no exception to this policy.
Cancellations for Microblading appointments within a 72 hour time frame will incur a 50% fee based on scheduled service. Same day cancellations or no call, no shows will be charged the full amount of the scheduled service. This procedure occupies multiple hours on the schedule, in addition there is a 6 month waiting period for appointments.
In the event their are no funds available on your credit card, you will have a cancellation fee added to your account. You will not be able to schedule another appointment until the balance is paid.
The above applies to new patients, existing patients and prepaid packaged treatment plans.
Our cancellation policy is provided during new patient on-boarding, noted on our website, our booking program and sent with each appointment reminder and confirmation. If you anticipate an issue with your scheduled appointment and want to avoid associated fees, please contact as us requested.
Hudson Valley Beauty Lab understands normal day time operational hours sometimes just don’t work. We are glad to accommodate our clients with appointments offered after 5pm when time and scheduling allows. If you would like to book an appointment outside of normal hours, simply contact your HVBL specialist and we will gladly do our best to accommodate you!
Gratuity for medical related treatments is not expected. Gratuity for stellar esthetic and beauty services is greatly appreciated and can be added on at the end of each check out.
