The Process

Once you do decide, we will be happy to put together a customized treatment plan for you and get you scheduled for treatment.
Our luxury boutique environment means that when you arrive for your appointment at HVBL, you’ll be treated like royalty. We will make sure you are comfortable and apply the topical numbing cream before your treatment RF Microneeding or Procell treatment. After your treatment, we apply the PDGF+ growth factor serum to aid in recovery and formation of new collagen.
There is no downtime required for RF Microneedling or Procell, however 1 to 2 days of mild redness is to be expected. We will give you a biocellulose mask to leave on for 45 minutes the evening after your treatment, followed by Recovery Balm. Repeat this the next morning as well. We recommend a post-microneedling SPF each day following treatment. You can start exfoliating your skin gently after day 3 or 4. Expect initial results 4 to 5 days following treatment.
Pre & Post RF Microneedling and Procell Instructions
- Discontinue use of prescription topical medication, AHAs, BHAs, retinoids and other drying treatments.
- Avoid excessively drying medications like Accutane.
- Regulate your sun exposure and use an SPF cream–you should not get a resurfacing treatment with irritated skin!
- Apply skincare according to instructions that we send home with you.
- Continue to use a microneedling-safe SPF cream, regulate sun exposure, and avoid saunas and steam rooms.
- Use gentle skincare products after day 3 or 4.
- Be patient with your skin! Collagen building is a process that happens over time.

There is mild discomfort for RF Microneedling and Procell treatments. To further eliminate discomfort, we have a topical numbing cream that we apply prior to treatment. Afterwards, your face may feel tight and your skin may feel irritated, similar to a sunburn. This should go away in a few days.
RF Microneedling and Procell are advanced skin treatment and safe for all skin types and tones. Even if you have acne, fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, acne scarring, stretch marks, or loose skin, RF treatments will work for you. The addition of PDGF to these treatments will elevate and amplify the outcome of the treatment.
If you have any underlying conditions that will significantly impair your healing process, please avoid getting a microchanneling or microneedling treatment. Among these conditions are bleeding disorders, chronic skin diseases, or autoimmune conditions. Furthermore, we do not recommend this treatment if you are currently undergoing radiation therapy, or if you have been treated with Accutane in the past 2 years, or if you are pregnant or nursing.
